Begin with the Central Registry’s basic entity profile
North Macedonia’s Central Registry offers a Basic Entity Profile for organisations in the Trade Registry and Registry of Other Legal Entities. Its guidance states that the service includes inactive entities and those undergoing bankruptcy or liquidation. A returned name therefore does not automatically mean normal ongoing operation. Match the registered identity and inspect the profile’s status information, using the original denomination where a translated name makes the search uncertain.
Choose current status or related-entity information
The registry’s online distribution system offers information products that go beyond the basic profile, including current-status material. It also describes a separate related-entity service for investigating recorded connections. Select the product matching the question and examine its coverage, rather than assuming a basic search reveals every shareholder, financial statement or beneficial owner. A formal certificate or dated information response is preferable when a recipient needs a specified registered fact proved at a particular time.
