Identify the Bosnian registration jurisdiction first
Company-record enquiries in Bosnia and Herzegovina require attention to the registering jurisdiction. Federation court services, Republika Srpska’s APIF-linked register and Brčko District’s business register provide different routes. Establish the registered office and company identifier before choosing the database. A result from one service should not be presented as an exhaustive national search covering all legal entities across the country’s administrative structures.
Check the coverage of newer electronic services
The Federation’s e-Registar portal states which courts its system currently covers, so an unsuccessful search may reflect that coverage rather than the company’s absence. APIF publishes its own business-register services for Republika Srpska, while the judiciary’s older gateway directs Brčko enquiries to a separate current portal. Obtain the relevant court decision or extract when formal proof is needed, and keep the issuing court and registration reference visible in the evidence.
