Use the entity type and number to identify the record
The Marshall Islands Registry's entity-search service accepts a business name with an entity type, or the full entity number. Its results can include active and other recorded statuses, so read the selected profile rather than treating every name returned as a currently operating company. The search instructions provide for saving a PDF report. Keep that report with its search date because the registry explains that the underlying information may subsequently change.
Request formal standing evidence and respect disclosure limits
A search report and a Certificate of Good Standing are different products. Registry corporate services can guide requests for certificates and copies of publicly filed documents when the recipient needs formal evidence. The Registry's FAQ also explains limits on publicly filed officer, director and shareholder details, so a standard search should not be presented as a complete ownership investigation. Confirm which documents are available for the particular entity and purpose before relying on assumptions about its management.
