Compare the entity number and legal name before relying on a match. A person's appearance in a historical role should be distinguished from their current authority to act for the company.
Recognise the separate international-company framework
MCIL expressly distinguishes its Companies Act register from international companies administered by the Samoa International Finance Authority. If the business presents international-company documentation, establish the relevant framework before interpreting an absent domestic-register result. For records available through the Companies Register, preserve the downloaded document and check later filings or changes when necessary. Public inspection and account access for maintaining a company's details are different functions, with update rights reserved to appropriately authorised users.
