Search the ACRA identity using the UEN
Singapore’s Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority provides entity searches through Bizfile. Its guidance explains how to check basic information such as an entity’s recorded status and how to find a Business Profile. Use the Unique Entity Number when comparing a contract, invoice or supplied registration document. A name can change or closely resemble another name, whereas the relevant identifier helps keep the enquiry attached to the intended organisation.
Choose an ACRA product for the actual question
A Business Profile, a filed document and a financial or compliance information product are different forms of evidence. ACRA’s product guide explains their purposes, allowing the enquiry to be matched to the material available. Check the profile date and examine the underlying filing where a historical change matters. Do not extend a basic entity search into a claim that every company’s complete accounts or ultimate ownership details are available without restriction.
