Use Nepal’s OCR public-data service
Nepal’s Office of the Company Registrar publishes a public-data portal connected with its company-administration system. Search using the registration information requested by the interface and complete the public verification step. Compare the company’s registered identity with the Nepali name and reference on its documents. An English rendering or a business advertisement may not be sufficient to distinguish two entities, especially when the names use different transliterations.
Separate an application’s progress from the legal record
OCR’s electronic services include application tracking using company-registration or application references. A tracking result describes a procedure and should not automatically be read as confirmation that the requested change has taken effect. For a certificate, copy or unresolved discrepancy, follow the registrar’s current service instructions. Keep a record of the actual document and its issue date; an online application number alone cannot replace the corporate evidence required for a particular transaction.
