Check the QFC entity rather than a general Qatar listing
Qatar Financial Centre's Companies Registration Office maintains the record of entities registered within the QFC framework. Use the QFC public register to match the legal entity and the particulars of its permitted activities. This is a specific registration system, so a QFC result should not be treated as a search of every business registered elsewhere in Qatar. Compare the company reference on the certificate or licence with the record relevant to the entity you are checking.
Separate corporate certification from financial authorisation
QFC firms can request certified copies through the Client Portal, while a document-verification facility checks identifiers printed on QFCA or CRO documents. Those services establish different matters from financial regulation. If a firm claims regulated status, consult the QFCRA public registers for the appropriate authorisation and entity. Keep the company evidence, verification result and regulatory check distinct, and obtain clarification through the responsible authority if the names or references do not align.
