Begin with ROCIP’s company and business-name services
Saint Lucia’s Registry of Companies and Intellectual Property is the authority named in the government’s company-name search service. A name check or reservation helps establish availability, with final approval remaining with the Registrar. This is a preliminary formation step, not proof that the proposed company was subsequently incorporated. Retain the exact denomination and any registration reference when progressing from a name enquiry to a company-record request.
Use the certificate and current government service route
The official incorporation guidance explains that the registry issues a Certificate of Incorporation following the relevant company-registration procedure. Government notices direct users to digiGov for online name-search and registration services. For an existing business, identify whether the document required is the original incorporation evidence or information about later registered changes; the name-reservation result alone cannot resolve that distinction. Check access requirements within the official service before ordering records.
