Reach the Bahamian corporate registry through CARS
The Bahamas Registrar General’s Department operates Corporate Administrative Registry Services, known as CARS. Its official overview identifies company searches and certified corporate documents among the platform’s functions. Use the registry’s own service route and check the current account and payment requirements before ordering. Identify the exact entity and company type so that the result concerns the registered organisation, rather than an agent or a similarly named business.
Distinguish public enquiries from agent management tools
The government also describes CARS Business as a management tool for financial and corporate service providers. Functions for maintaining directors, shares or client entities within that workflow do not establish that all such information is publicly searchable. Ask for the specific search report or certified document needed and examine its stated coverage. The fact that a company exists in the register does not, on its own, verify a separate licence to provide financial services.
