Start with the Argentine national identity record
Argentina’s Registro Nacional de Sociedades brings together information on private legal persons. Its consultation service accepts a CUIT or CDI and a legal name, helping distinguish entities with similar denominations. Use the identifier as the anchor when comparing a company’s invoice, registration evidence and public entry. The national directory assists identification; it should not be treated as a complete electronic copy of every company’s underlying corporate file.
Find the registry responsible for the legal address
The Inspección General de Justicia registers and supervises relevant companies and civil entities with their legal domicile in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Its territorial role should not be extended automatically to every Argentine province. Once the national search establishes the entity and address, approach the competent registry for the required filings or certificates. Check the dates and scope of the documents, particularly when a company has moved or changed its legal name.
