Connect the UAE licence to its issuing authority
The UAE’s National Economic Register, presented through the Growth platform, brings together economic-registration information. The federal government also directs users to licence enquiries operated by authorities in individual emirates. Begin with the licence number, legal name and issuing authority on the business’s documents. A trading brand can cover several establishments, so do not assume that every branch or similarly named licence belongs to one interchangeable legal entity.
Check the licence record and the underlying company evidence
The federal licence-verification guidance is a useful route to the competent local enquiry service. Compare the activities, location and recorded status relevant to the proposed transaction, then ask the issuing authority for formal evidence if a public result is insufficient. Free-zone or other specialised registrations may require their own authority’s records. The presence of national data-sharing and beneficial-owner systems does not establish unrestricted public access to every ownership or financial detail.
