Obtain Korean corporate-register particulars through IROS
South Korea’s court registration system provides access to legal-entity records through the Internet Registry Office, commonly called IROS. Government guidance describes a corporate registration certificate as recording matters such as the entity name, registration number, head office, capital and officers. Select the corporate-record service rather than a real-property enquiry. The Korean legal name and corporate registration reference are valuable when an English trading name produces uncertain matches.
Use DART only for the disclosures it contains
The Financial Supervisory Service operates DART, a separate electronic disclosure system with company information and filed reports. It can support a financial investigation where the organisation has relevant disclosures, but it is not an exhaustive replacement for court registry records. Compare corporate and business-registration identifiers carefully, since they serve different administrative purposes. Read the reporting period and document type before combining a DART figure with current registration particulars.
